Brighton & Hove Albion Women battled to an entertaining 1–1 draw against Paris Saint-Germain in a competitive pre-season friendly at the American Express Stadium.

PSG started the match strongly and created several early chances. Their pressure eventually paid off in the 37th minute when Alyssa Charlier put the visitors ahead after meeting a low cross from Romée Leuchter.

Brighton responded before half-time but struggled to find a way through PSG's defence. The Seagulls returned from the break with greater attacking intent and began putting their opponents under increasing pressure.

He consistently made runs into dangerous areas and looked to connect with his teammates, but New York City's defense limited the amount of space available in the final third.

The Fire had several opportunities to build momentum, particularly through possession in the midfield, but they found it difficult to break down NYCFC's organized defensive shape. Missed passes and a lack of finishing in front of goal prevented Chicago from finding the equalizer or taking control of the match.

Boston wasted little time creating chances and found the breakthrough in the 17th minute when Bárbara Olivieri scored what proved to be the game's only goal. Orlando responded by pushing forward for an equalizer, but the Pride struggled to break through Boston's organized defensive unit.

Throughout the second half, Orlando controlled more of the possession and created several promising opportunities in the attacking third. Spain once again proved why they are the standard in European youth football, defeating Germany 2-0 in the UEFA Under-19 European Championship Final to lift a record 10th title.

After a tightly contested opening half, Spain found the breakthrough just before halftime and carried that momentum into the second half with another goal only minutes after the restart. Their disciplined defending and clinical finishing kept Germany from mounting a comeback as La Roja controlled the match from the final whistle.

Throughout the tournament, Spain showcased the technical quality, composure, and attacking style that have become trademarks of the country's youth development system. Their championship run also secured qualification for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup and reinforced Spain's reputation as one of the world's premier producers of young talent.

Germany impressed throughout the competition with several standout performances on their way to the final, but Spain's experience and efficiency proved to be the difference in Wrexham.

Griezmann Shines in Orlando City Debut as Lions Defeat Rowdies 6-0

All eyes were on Antoine Griezmann as the French star made his long-awaited Orlando City debut in a friendly against the Tampa Bay Rowdies. While the Lions cruised to a dominant 6-0 victory, the night belonged to the club's newest signing.

From the opening whistle, Griezmann looked comfortable in Orlando's attack. His movement, passing, and experience were on display throughout the match as he quickly built chemistry with his new teammates. The veteran forward gave fans plenty to cheer about in his first appearance, showing exactly why Orlando City brought him to Central Florida.

Orlando controlled the match from start to finish, creating chances consistently while limiting the Rowdies' opportunities. The Lions' attacking quality proved too much, with multiple players contributing to the six-goal performance in a commanding display.

What was expected to be a festive evening at Al Lang Stadium turned into a frustrating one as the Tampa Bay Rowdies fell 4-1 to Lexington SC on Friday night.

Lexington took control early, scoring three first-half goals and putting the Rowdies on their heels. Tampa Bay found the net in the second half, but Lexington answered to seal an impressive road victory. The loss served as a reminder that every match in the USL Championship presents a challenge.

The atmosphere before kickoff was full of excitement. Fans packed the stands in patriotic colors, expecting a Fourth of July celebration and another strong Rowdies performance.

As Lexington built its lead, the mood shifted. The loud chants became quieter, and frustration grew with every goal. Still, supporters continued to cheer for the Rowdies, applauding their effort and celebrating the lone goal with hope of a comeback.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — Ventura County FC erased a halftime deficit with three unanswered second-half goals to earn a convincing 3–1 victory over Real Monarchs on Saturday night at William Rolland Stadium, extending the club's strong run of form in MLS NEXT Pro.

The opening 45 minutes featured chances at both ends, but it was the visitors who struck first. Just before halftime, Jesús Barea finished off a quick transition to give Real Monarchs a 1–0 lead, sending Ventura County into the break trailing despite creating several promising opportunities.
